So many cute blog backgrounds out there. What's a girl to do?

Feel free to borrow this photo and use it on your blog or share with your friends and loved ones :) :)

Alright, all of you have been following me with my blgoger background drama. I LOVE the banner I chose. That won't change...however, while I was visiting another friend's blog, I noticed her background is from Shabby Lane Shops. They have some free blog backgrounds that I was just DROOLING over...they were gorgeous, especially the ones with the roses. Click here to visit their blog.

Would you do me a favor since there's so much blog background eye candy out there. I like the current blogger background that I have...but should I KEEP it or should I SWITCH to one of free backgrounds at the link I mentioned in the above paragraph. I'm especially interested in any of the ones with the roses. Which one matched my banner the best?

Aggh...this is a good problem to have. I can't make up my mind. Before I couldn't find a blog background that I liked. Now there are too many to choose from.  Well, that's a very good problem to have!!! If that's the worst thing I have going on, then I'm doing okay :) :) :)

I've been knitting up a storm this evening. I watched a documentary on my local PBS station on this guy who was trying to rescue a B-29  plane that crash landed in Greenland during WWII. It was still in pristine condition. The plane didin' make it, but the documentary was fascinating. They interviewed some of the original pilots who were on that plane when it crashed. All the while, I'm thinking...God you gave man the ability to fly!!! What a miracle that is!!! Thank you for that gift!

That's all for the moment. I just had to get this out into blogland before I forgot.  That is the news from Oregon for tonight. Love and hugs, Heather :)

Heather,
I know I'll be no help at all--I found so many backgrounds that I love there. I like:
Picket Fence and Roses by Catherine, Pretty Pink Roses by Catherine, Vintage Pink Roses by Debbie and Red Roses by Debbie. I'm drooling over some of these!! But then Red Roses by Debbie speaks to me too. I'm sorry I'm no help--good luck! I hope you find what you are looking for. Have a blessed day! Sheila

Hello Heather! Do a google search for Kevin and Amanda blog and they have a tutorial on how to make a blog background. It's rather tedious, but I don't think I did anything differently than they said. While you're changing things around, consider setting on your profile that your e-mail is attached. That way I can reply directly to your comments. Have a wonderful day!

Hi Heather!
I like your new background! Mine was a free template also, the link is at the top right by the banner, very easy to install! This one looks good though!
You asked me earlier about the post dividers I have. I got the instructions on how to do it at Cutest Blog on the Block. :/. i think the one I have is from Shabby blogs, and they may have instructions. Look under dividers.
Thanks for stoppin by! :)

Good evening...!!!!

@Sheila...no worries. It's funny, because I picked out all the same blog backgrounds that you did. I think I'll stick with what I have for the moment!!!!

@Karen...I'll pray your hubby gets that interview. Layoffs are scary things. I'm coming towards the end of unemployment. I think I might be covered for an extension of benefits...but I won't know until my current claim runs out. I'd rather be working though...full time!!! I'll keep you in my prayers!!!

@Gerry...thanks. The header isn't my creation..I got it from a site called "Banner of Blessings Free Blogger Banners"..I'll post the link at the end of my comment here :) :)

@Nancy...cool...thank you :) :) I'm touched because you did that on your own. I'm honored and blessed all at the same time :) A friend of mine is working on a blog button for me..and I can't wait to see it. I'll let everyone know about it once it's up.

@Melissa...hi there..I'll check it out. I love their blog. I added my email to my profile info!!!

@Karen again :) :)...I saw the new button and updated it on my blog sidebar!!! It looks really nice!!!!

@Anne...your a sweetie...I haven't joined the pinkies yet. I may soon...but I'll wait till the right time. I just jo ined a whole bunch of tea parties...so I'm really loving that..and once I get the rhythm I'll do the pinks!!! :) :) :)

@Cindy..I have a whole mess of friends from church that I'm still in contact with now on Facebook...and we all still talk about camp..Church camp was fun!!! Thanks...I'[ll definitely make sure to give you credit for those photos. Prairie Flower Farm blog..check their button on my sidebar :) :)...written by Linda..it's awesome!!! She posts some really nice Scripture photos from time to time, that she lets us borrow. What a blessing!!! Check out her blog, I think you'll like it.

Thanks ladies for the compliments on my blog background. The banner IS NOT MY CREATION :( :( :( It comes from a site called "Banners of Blessing"...here's the link if you'd like to check it out. The banners are outstanding, beautifully done...and FREE...and until I figure out how to make one myself..I'll use these....

Have a great Friday everyone!!! I hope you all will really experience/feel God's blessing in your lives :) :) You've been a blessing to me, that's for sure!! Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

Hi Heather, First of all, I LOVE your blog background and header. Simply elegant! And floral! Fits you (and me too) to a "t." You asked what type of lily I showed in my blog post. It's a hemerocallis, also known as a daylily. I don't know the specific name of this one as it was given to us by a friend and she didn't provide that information. It is stunning though and I really like it too. You asked about being a tag-free blog. A tag is when someone will say something like, "Tag, you're it. Tell us ten things about yourself that are unique, and then pass this tag on to ten other bloggers." Have a great day, Heather! So glad you came to visit.

Morning Heather..
thanks for the info on the colums for my blog..and I kinda make my sweet tea by sight more than measuring. so this afternoon when I get home an make some . i will measure it and let you know.. and you are so right, it is hard to make a good Sweet Tea..
and after years of trying , i have finally mastered the kind I like.. so I will let you know and you can make some for you and your dad for dinner..
I use Family Sz Lipton tea bags when i make mine.. but any family size bags will work just fine..
Talk to ya real soon

Hi Heather,
I like your header and your blog background. I know it's hard to choose because there are so many beautiful ones out there. I have had mine for a while now. I keep trying to find one I like better but nothing seems to fit as well as the one I have. I do prefer something a little softer but until I find it I guess I'll stick to the floral one I have already. The photo of your posies is very pretty! Hope you're having a beautiful day.

Blessings,
Sandi

HI Beth...Thanks for explaining what a tag is...Yes, I definitely am definitely a tag and award free blog kind of gal :) :) My reward is when people leave comments or join my blog :) :)

@Karen...let me know how your sweet tea turns out ;) :)

@Sandi/Rose Chintz Cottage...I love your blog and the softness. That's really nice too. I know what you mean about blog backgrounds...until I find something I like even more, I'll stick with this one. I'd like to learn how to create my own someday!!!

@Cindy...I do like your blog background etc. It's really nice!!!

Ladies...my head really hurts today...I just learned how to burn my photos onto a CD...after messing up the first three CDs. Now everything is really good. I wanted to have a backup incase the hard drive crashed or something. Now it's really easy...and what the computer does is much easier than the photo editing programs I use...anyway...I'm going to take a rest because I'm super tired...Thanks for visiting me and leaving me nice comments ;) :) :) I love hearing from all of you !!!!

Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :) :) :)

Heather,

I love your blog background. When I was using blogger, I changed my background all the time especially with the changing seasons. I'd usually do a web search for free blogger backgrounds and so many would appear. I hope you stay with this one a while.

@Mountain Woman :) :) ): Thanks for visiting me today. I'm going to read your latest blog post today :) :) There are so many wonderful backgrounds out there...and I'm so thankful there are people out there who make this FREE. I'll definitely stick with this one for awhile. I know there's a way to create a custom-made blog background using PhotoShop...It's not on my computer, so I'll have to buy it someday when I have the money!!..but it's a little low on my priority list at the moment :) :) Thanks for visiting me!!! Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)
