It's a lazy Sunday & I'm having breakfast for lunch :) :) :)

Feel free to borrow this photo Scripture and share it on your blog and/or with friends and loved ones.  Have a great week!!!!

I was going through my memory verses for the last week, and I realized that I don't think I posted anything for last Sunday. Oops...that's okay!!! Here's the memory verse for this week....Proverbs 3:5-6.  I hope everyone is having a good day so far. What are your plans?

My dad is making us breakfast for lunch today. I'll have to be honest, I love breakfast any time of day...morning, noon and night :) :) I'm sitting at the computer and I can already smell yummy hashbrowns from the kitchen :) :) :)

This next photo I'm posting for my friend Gerry at Gerry's Soap N Stuff...but you might like it, too :) :) She posted recently about a really nice gift of hand-knit dishcloths that a friend sent her ;) :) Gerry displayed them with some of her homemade soap on a nice glass dish. Click here to see the post. In any case, I thought I had a similar dish. So I grabbed itout of the kitchen and snapped a photo. This is what it looks like. Upon reflection, it's not quite the same, but it sure is pretty :) :)

You know I've said it before and I'll say it again...I love how God answers prayers. I love how God answers even when we don't pray. One of the first blogs I started following was Linda Stubb's over at Prairie Flower Farm.  She'd been blogging recently about her grandfather's truck...and the precious memories that it held. Her family was going to have to sell it at an auction.  Well, click here to read her post and see the awesome way God provided for her and her family!!! There's some other goodies in that post too, but you'll have to read it to find out :) :)

WELCOME TO: Sheila at KnitsCooksCrochets. Click here to pay her a visit :) Her blog is so cute..and I do LOVE to knit, crochet...I'm getting there...cooking, not so much...BUT she had some yummy recipes up on her blog, so yummy, it makes me want to go in the kitchen... plus some pics of a super cute dog :) :) :) Thanks Sheila for joining my blog :) :) :)

Isn't it amazing how God blesses in so many different ways?..Money to pay bills, God providing an opportunity to keep a treasured possession, people joining my blog :) :), a sunny day, good food, etc...the list goes on.. I hope you take the time to count your blessings...big and small. Maybe try writing them down in a book. Try writing down three things every day that you are thankful to God for....You'll be surprised and happy at what you come up with :) :) :)
That's the news from Oregon today. Love and hugs, Heather :) :) :)

I'm glad you chose to share with us on Spiritual Sundays. I like breakfast for lunch or any time too. I have a dish that looks almost just like yours except it is oblong instead of round. You're right. God blesses in so many ways. He has blessed us more than I ever thought possible.
Have a great week.

I'm in the midst of dinner...making it that is..taquitoes :) :)

@Gerry...thank you.

@Whidbey Woman....thank you. I enjoy doing them. You should check out Prairie Flower Farm. There's a button on my sidebar. Linda posts some really neat photos with Scripture and a whole bunch of other great things!!!

@Sheila....thank you :) :) Yes, that story made me melt, too :) :) God is so good to us..and in ways we don't expect!!

@Charlotte - thanks for paying me a visit :) :) :) I'm looking forward to what people post next Sunday :) :)

@Amy/Vintage Porcelain Art...I love your blog. The artwork is right up my alley and fits perfectly into my style :) :) :) Plus, it brings back memories of going to the L.A. County Fair (or was it Orange County? can't remember now) and seeing ladies hand paint it right there at the booth. I would love to learn how to do that someday!! Your work is breathtaking!!

@Nancy...thanks!!! You'll find that it's really helpful, especially later on down the road if things aren't going well. Open that up and be reminded of all the good things God has done for you. You could even make it a combo of thankfulness/prayers that God has answered...whatever you want :) :) Welcome to my blog :) :)

this week has been great...and so many nice ladies stopping by to leave comments and/or join my blog!!! This has really encouraged me. Thank you!!! Love and hugs!!!

Hello, Heather, and thank you for this very positive post!! God is always so good to us and if we will let Him, He will answer our prayers in the way that is best for us. I love the scripture from Proverbs, one of my many favorites. I am with you, breakfast any time sounds good. Have a beautiful week, sweet friend~ Vicki p.s. You asked about the bottles I had my roses in. I usually find them in craft stores like Michaels or Hobby Lobby.

Hi Heather,
Your post touched home for me. We were blessed to get to spend time with family we don't see very often today. I am definitely counting my blessings, we had a great day. Love Lindas post you mentioned, so nice of you to share.
My husband too, loves breakfast any time of the day, likes to change things up. :-) Hope you have a great day! It's 12:45 AM here another late night for me, so I should go get some sleep! Thanks for another great post.
Blessings, Jill

Hi everyone, It's a late night!!! I've been working on some dishclothes that I'm knitting for a friend..

@Vicki/Bunny Cottage...thanks for the tip on the vases. I saw some miniature vases at a yard sale. I don't know if they were porcelain or not. they were beautiful, but the lady was asking high prices for everything...so I didn't buy them. This one vase was $10..if I knew more about the object, like the company that made it etc...maybe..big maybe...but no I passed and got all those other fabulous things that I posted last weekend!!

@Jill/blessings of a Stay at Home Mom, That's so cool you got to spend time with family. I'd love to visit my mother, her husband and my little brother...but I just don't have the money for a flight...and I refuse to go into debt. My mom totally understands..so we talk a lot on the phone!

@Ginger-Enchanting Cottage..Thanks for paying me a visit and leaving me a comment :) :) I would join this blog too, but you don't have Google friend connect on here. I was browsing some of the posts...and it's really neat. Oh, where did you get that font that you use? I love it. I've thought of changing my font because the ones Blogger propvides are all pretty much the same...not that I mind, because it's all free...but I'd like to make my blog look even more girly, if that's possible :) :)

Ladies, thanks for visiting me. I've had a lot this weekend, and it's done my heart good...you all are good medicine :) ) Oh breakfast for lunch today was turkey sausage, hashbrowns and eggs...That's my FAVORITE breakfast!!! I'd love to eat that every day...but I don't think my body would like that very much :) :) Have a great week. I pray that you'll have a good one and that you'll grow closer in your walks with God this week :) :)
