Happy Tea Tuesday..... I really love this day a lot. Today is what I'd call "random" tea. This first photo is of something I picked up at a yard sale awhile back for $1. It's missing the lid. It's actually quite large with two handles. It kind of remind me of an overgrown sugar bowl. Do any of you know what it is or what it would have been used for? I may actually turn this into a vase....not sure yet.
I purchased this for the backstamp. I don't remember what's particularly special about the Johnson Bros. However, the name is familiar...so it goes to my home :) :) :)
Awhile back I won a lovely giveaway over at Prairie Flower Farm. One of the items was some tea, so last week, I actually decided to drink some tea. First step in drinking tea is to choose a saucer and cup. Doilies aren't required...but everything looks good with a doily :) This is what I chose...
Next step is to choose some tea. Here is the tea that Linda at Prairie Flower Farm sent over :) :) I LOVE Tazo teas...and this was really nice...a fruity, floral mixture. It smelled and tasted delicious.
Boil up some water. I like a full 8 ounces of water per cup of Heather's tea :) :) :) So add the tea bag to the water ....let steep for a little itty bitty...and voila...a nice hot cup of tea ;) :) :) I drank this late one night. Hmm..maybe I was watching "Dancing with the Stars"?
Here's another "random" tea thing. It looks like a miniature creamer. It's very old and was passed down to me. The only reason I posted it was because the color reminded me of some other pieces I had seen on another blog :) :) :) So I thought this would be a fun little piece to show off!!!
That's it for tea today. Thank you for stopping by for a visit!!! I love it when you stop by and leave comments!!! Have a great day everyone!!! That's the news from Oregon today. Love and hugs, Heather :)

Your find really is a sugar bowl...I have two extremely large ones and I have always wondered if they were made for large families like people had long ago....
Your cups and saucers are just exquisite and so is the handblown glass creamer...
Happy teatime...

Good morning Heather,
What a wonderful lidless sugar bowl! I believe it would make a sweet little vase. Johnson Bros. is the company that produced my beloved Rose Chintz china. Perhaps that is why the name sounded familiar? Love the colour of the creamer. It looks like it may be aqua, is it? Love that colour! Your tea looks good in your pretty teacup. Thank you for sharing and I hope you have a beautiful day.
Blessings,
Sandi
Hi, Heather! Pretty, pretty things there! The "overgrown sugar bowl" would make a nice nosegay vase. I love the blue rims of the china!!! I am a Johnson Brothers fan, and have 2 patterns (Bordeaux and Blue Denmark). I like your blog. You have a wonderful, light sense of humor!
You seem to find nice treasures! I'd sit with you and have some of that lovely tea. Yes, Linda is a blessing as are you my friend.
Have a lovely day full of God's goodness.
Hello Heather - Love the colors of your teacup...very cheerful! And I also love the passion tea from Tazo. I like most of Tazo's tea. Stopping by from Teacup Tuesdays. Oh and I'm having a gift raffle. Hope you can join.

I have a hard time passing up all-white china (OR ironstone) pieces. I agree with the others - that you have a Johnson Bros. sugar bowl. Use it however you please :)
The sugar bowl will make a wonderful vase. Love the teacup you picked for your Tazo tea (love Tazo). Have a wonderful Tea Day!
What a lovely tea cup and saucer set its so dainty and pretty!
Thanks for sharing

I love mixing china and glass pieces in the same color family to come up with an interesting tea service! It makes tea time fun! I almost always use different teacups, not matching ones.
Hi Heather!
Love the tea cup you chose for your tea! Tazo is one of my favorite teas too! Their cold teas taste good as well.:-)
Thank you for your kind words, I really appreciate it so much.
I hope you have a lovely evening.
Blessings,
Jill
Johnson Brothers, I found this old soup tureen at an antique flea market pretty cheap, it has a beautiful country scene on it. I do think that dollies make everything just a little prettier. Perhaps I should wear one..ha ha. Hope you are having a wonderful day.
Hugs,
Kim
Heather,
I love all the tea things you are sharing with us. That miniature creamer is gorgeous--one of my most favorite colors!! Take care.
I don't know what all Johnson Brothers manufactured, but I do know they made the rose chintz pattern.
I agree with you...everything looks beautiful on a doilie. I set my teacup on a doilie every afternoon.
I love the color of your creamer. Looks like aqua from the photo...the color of the sea!!
Hope you're having a lovely week.
Love,
Patti
Hi Heather,
