HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Hi everyone,

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my fellow Americans ;) :) :) Enjoy your day today :) :)

My dad and I took my aunt's dog for a walk this morning. Then we took a scenic drive along the ocean. Afterwards, we stopped at Whole Foods, so I could buy some coffee. Now we're home making breakfast.  We'll be cooking the turkey later today.

We got our turkey dinner from Whole Foods this year.  Believe it or not, this will be the first time that Dad and I have cooked a turkey ourselves. It should be easy. It's an organic turkey that's already fully cooked. We just have to heat and serve it, but still.... :) :) :)

That's the news from the ocean shores of California today.  Love and hugs, Heather :)

Good to hear from you. We had ham for Thanksgiving this year. I always bake it with pineapple rings and the juice. The ham just needed to be heated up, so it was baked same time as the green bean casserole, made by my daughter. I made a pumpkin pie with a cream cheese base, it was different and good! Enjoyed our 2 grandchildren as well. Take care and a good rest of your THANKSgiving day. Sounds like it was good!

A fully cooked organic turkey! Wow! (Every year I kind of marvel how easy it actually is to roast a turkey and wonder why I don't do it once in awhile the other 11 months of the year!)

A scenic drive along the ocean sounds wonderful, Heather! I "should have" walked here today. The weather was quite decent--60 degrees warm (and maybe higher).

I hope your Thanksgiving day was filled with many blessings, Heather. I like to shop at Whole foods too!
I am so glad you are enjoying your new home.
Thanks for stopping by, and for taking the time to leave me such a sweet comment. You asked if I made the cushion for my rocker, No it came with it, and I wish I could sew like that. I am tickled pink to have been blessed with it, and it does sit so well.

I had a great Thanksgiving, now on to a small diet before Christmas to work it all off. I am your newest GFC follower. Stop by to follow me back.

I thought you determined that coffee was one of the things that bothered your health. I guess you've made such sufficient progress that that is no longer the case. Great news...because I know how much you love your coffee.

By the way, I am not getting these blog updates on my dashboard, and, in fact, you don't even appear to be there anymore. I'm going to sign up again to follow, because I think I might have been deleted...that's happening to me over and over again lately. I guess Blogger has some strange issues going on.

Love,
Patti
